For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. ---Ephesians 6:12

Happy Veterans Day... And Happy Birthday, Marines!

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to the vets who have served our country throughout the ages. And also a slightly belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the US Marine Corps.

F.Y.I., Applebee's is giving free dinners to vets TODAY ONLY during business hours at select locations. Click HERE for more information, first!. In other words, take your vet out to dinner today/tonight to say thank you for serving our country.

(h/t's: Brutally Honest for Marine Corps video, Malkin for Applebee's info)

Matt, without taking anything away from the USMC (to whom I also wish a Happy Birthday, and who have always served with valor, pride and effectiveness), as an Army Nam vet, I would note that the vast majority of the half million men plus who served in RVN at its peak were Army, and that we bore the brunt of the casualties. I believe that is also true in Iraq and Afghanistan to date.

Just trying to be loyal to my old branch of service.
